Why no simple trap door?, this looks fiddly with the possibility of breaking something, I had thought of getting one of these to boot/run linux from the USB3 which I can’t fined if it is possible, the next route was to bung in another HD but not this way, Good video though

Just in case anyone else had the same issue, ‘fast boot’ is enabled, to disable it- In Windows8 open sidebar on the right, select Settings, choose Change PC settings (at the bottom of sidebar), choose ‘General’ in PC Settings, roll down to Advanced Settings, select it, wait for the blue screen, choose ‘Troubleshoot’, select ‘Advanced Options’, then select ‘UEFI Firmware Settings’, with a restart that will take you to the BIOS. Once in BIOS go to BOOT and you find ‘Fast Boot’, disable it.
