    Same here. The HGST 500gb drive on my lenovo laptop is dead. The warranty expired and after about 1 week, the laptop froze and the drive was dead. I've only used it for about a year. The WD Blue on my netbook is already about 8 years old and its still working fine. Hitachi drives suck.
