I have a question… I shared my google doc with my friend and at first she can see. Then when I updated it she can't see the new part even though I sent her the link and then deleted to invite her again. And she still can't see anything. How do i fix it soo she can see it again, even while I'm typing.

Very good video, but when I try to share word doc*ment, I don't get the "choose from contacts" option.  Only the red "required".  Is this something I can turn on in settings?  It will auto fill individuals or groups, but it would be nice to access my gmail contact list to add people individually.  Any ideas?

So can the other user still download the file if it's on "can edit" or does it have to be on "can view"

As a teacher, we are being asked to move all of our files to Google Drive for storage.
We have many Smart board lessons created.  Obviously, the Drive doesn't have the program but want to know how to edit items from Smart board software without having to Download each lesson, editing it and then having to re load it into Google Docs.  HELP!!

Hi Anson, I Realize these videos are quite old but I wanted to ask id there a way in which to know whether a person with which you are sharing a doc*ment has a google drive account? Also what would happen if you were to type an email address of someone who doesnt have google drive into the share drop down?

When I try to share my doc*ment as a PDF. The formatting changes and makes my resume look messy. Is there a way to make sure the formatting stays the same?

    Hey Anson,
is there a video explaining the options of using the doc*ment link when sharing?
Let's say I want to store sensible doc*ments/ data in my drive – are they safe, encrypted,…??? Or do you recommend not to use Google Drive for sensible data?
    Thanks a lot!
