    That can be a lot of things, first try to connect you laptop to a display (using a hdmi or vga cable) if it doesn't work, your graphics card is fried (if you have integrated graphics, your CPU is fried then). If it works when you connect it do an external display, open the laptop up, make sure that screen is connected to the motherboard, if it's not theres your problem, but if it is connected and it doens't work you should get a replacement one. good luck.

    could be your monitor. If you laptop has an external video port (ex. dvi, avi, hdmi) then plug it into a tv and see if it works

    hey i have a problem. i got a sony laptop with windows xp and when i turn it on i can hear fans and stuff running and lights are on saying its on but the screen is blank. ive checked and the lcd light is not burnt out could you suggust how to fix this please?

    my computer randomly booted me out of all my programs out of the blue just now and all my icons and programs are gone! I managed to find mozilla firefox in the c drive by going to recycle bin which is the only icon there. but now i cant even look in the C:// drive!!!! This just randomly happened and it happened to every account!! WTf did i do??
