So you could use that to access/view older hard drives and access data that
you might want to keep? What if you had an OS on the hard drive? Will it
try to boot from that drive? Thanks!

I don’t know if this will work on a WD My Passport because the port being
used from the drive is a Sata to Usb 3.0. would anyone like to give me a
way to make this readable? seeing how the drive is already a sata out

I have the ‘system’ you are using and have purchased several others of a
similar type and function e.g rack and caddy, IDE/SATA/USB Dock but what I
came looking for was a way to persuade my machine to *recognise* my HDD.
Sadly what you’re telling us in this video is really how to utilise a HDD
that is already functional. What I’m looking for is a way to make the
computer ‘see’ the drive and let me access the information on it. I
appreciate this is fairly old in tech terms but it was still a bit
disappointing not to find what I was looking for when the title held so
    much promise.

Thanks for that very good information. But where can I purchase that device
from? It’s not available in this country. How much does it cost? Can you
punches it for me if I sent you the money? Would it work with the LaCie
    Internet Space external drive?

Did you try to plug two devices in the same time? For exemple a Sata hard
drive and a IDE hard drive in the same time. Is it possible?
