Your knowledge and skill are impressive. In the past when liquids have hit electrics, my first reaction was to turn it off, disassemble as much as possible, douse it with distilled water and then alcohol, then blow any remaining liquid out with air. My thinking is that the distilled water will displace any electrolytes in the offending liquid that could cause corrosion and conductivity. The alcohol in turn displaces the water and rapidly evaporates with hit with air. This obviously would only make matters worse if the liquid could reach the inside of the drive. Any thoughts on this plan?

    Great video.
Just a quick question with you swapping over the bios chip for the new donor board, Would you have to do this if you happened to have or find the exact same model, firmware and a pretty close manufacture date??
