    i tried typing the command attrib -h -r -s /s /d…it says access not
    allowed even though i am the admin…please help..

    for me, under disk 2, it says No Media. That where my flash drive is
    connected. I can’t clean it or do anything to it. Any suggestions ?

    h**lo kindly help me , when i insert my hard disk (500 gb ) and when i
    open “my computer ” i cant see the hard disk !! but as i use CMD as you it
    shows the disk is online but i cant see it kindly help me . waiting for

    to get to the cmd on xp go to start and the go to run and tip cmd

    How to get to command prompt on Windows XP: start> Run…> type “cmd” and
    hit enter. Command prompt pops up. Problem solved

    When i try that “clean” command it appers like “Diskpart encountered error.
    Parameter incorrect. see the system event log”

    XP:Command prompt: win key+R (or start>all programs>accessories>run) than
    type in the box: cmd and hit enter

    Hi Cynthia, I agree. If you want to recover deleted files, there’s really
    no easier way to go than do it yourself.
