Anybody that doesn’t have a backup and loses files deserves what they get. A big fat data recovery bill! No regrets no sympathies.

hi nick. i just came to know that my motherboard (intel DG33FB) doesn’t support USB 3.0 internal hubs (they require PCI v2.1 at the least).
Should I go get an external USB 3.0 hub?

most motherboards have a fuse in them allowing only a small amount of amps. so even if you get a internal usb hub (run off motherboard) or bigger power supply you with still have the same problem. self powered usb hub plugs start into the wall power so it will bypass the motherboard. just get one with a high amp output but not to high or you will blow up your device. let me no how you go

the backside usb ports too have the same problem. I should go get an internal usb hub. Maybe a usb 3.0 hub ! (only if it would suport my old motherboard).
    thanks for the suggestion.
