External Hard Drive Bad Sectors Recovery

Hello Friends,
In this video, we will see how to recover external hard drive data that becomes unreadable due to bad sectors, which usually occurs as a result of some malfunctioning in disk platter or presence of dust particles on the disk.

If your system is responding slowly when you are trying to access your external drive or some of the data has become inaccessible or entire drive is not readable, you can assume that there are bad sectors on your portable hard disk.

Now, let me tell you what to do in these cases.

First, connect your external hard drive to system.

Then, right-click on it to open Properties.

Under Tools option, you have different options. Use the first option and click Check now.

On next window, mark the option to repair any bad sectors and hit Start.

Once the checking process completes, check whether everything is fine or in the same condition as previous. If this process fails, then you need to use any Partition Recovery Tool to recover data from inaccessible external hard drive having bad sectors.

Here, I will suggest you one such tool which bypasses the bad sectors and creates disk images and later recover data from these disk images.

To get this tool, visit the page “usbharddriverecovery.net/bad.html”. Read the information on this page and download the tool.

After following the installation steps, launch the software.

On its main screen, select Recover Drives module.

Then, choose Partition Recovery module.

On this screen, select your external hard drive and hit Next.

Software will then search for lost partitions on the selected external drive. Upon completion, it will list out found partitions. Choose the required partition and move further.

When this screen pops up, you can select the file extensions if you know them; else proceed further by using Mark All or Skip option.

Software will scan your drive & create disk images wherever it comes across bad sectors. Later, it displays out a list of recovered files.

Finally, choose the required files from the list and click Next.

On this last window, give the location to save recovered data and hit Next.

That’s it. Software begins saving the recovered data & opens the output location.

You can check the files whether they are in a healthy state or not.

So friends, try the method I have shown earlier in this video or else use this software to recover your data using this application from any external hard disk that goes inaccessible due to bad sectors, file system corruption or any other reason.

If you want to try this software, you can get it from the link provided in the video description.

Hit like & subscribe my channel if this video was useful.

Thank you Friends.

Good Bye.
