Did you computer crash? Windows failing to boot? Computer hardware failure? Afraid you will loose all of your precious pictures and data? Don’t panic! This video shows step by step how you can try to save your data using a second computer and a USB – SATA / IDE adaptor to down load you data. Many times the hard drive does not mechanically fail, and it is only a corruption of the operating system, or a computer hardware failure. If this is in fact the case, your data can be saved by transferring it to another computer, by using special adapter cables that converts your crashed hard drive into an external USB hard drive that can be read on a another operating computer. This video shows step by step how to do this data saving procedure.

I know many ways how to recover data on a crashed hard drive, one of the main ways I do that is to do a windows recovery then go into a folder named (windows old) then get into what back ups whats been saved, another way to do that having plenty of sofware disks to repair hard drives is another way,Ive never tried before know how to use them, another way do recover data is to put the hard drive in to a caddy what connects to USB and recover data of it by connecting it to another computer theres many ways

So much trouble. All you need is a 2.5 inch HDD case enclosure on Ebay for about $7.00 and plug in to a USB port of the working computer. No need for all those cables and crap in your video. All those cables and adapters probably cost more than the case enclosure kit.

Hi, I have a problem. My laptop does not boot (a blue screen pops up)(my computer has windows 7), I might be able to fix it if I had the windows installation disc, but for some reason I do not have one. What should I do? should I use a USB to SATA adapter ? will I be able to have all my data back(for example my search history )? thanks.

    Things wrong with this video:
    – Grammatically sloppy title
    – Terrible audio
    – The set-up is way too convoluted. A simple external HD to USB case/adapter is all you need instead of all those crazy and outdated cables and adapters you are showing.

utter nonsense if you have a"crashed" os it usually means bad drive or ram issue causing corruption. If the issue is the HDD a simple adapter isnt going to make data available and if lucky enough to have the hard drive detected youre gonna need a application to recover the data. Also note caugh "doctor"..more power strips isnt better if youre an i***t that daisy chains a crapload of amps to a single wall plug. It depends on what youre plugging into those strips now doesnt it ?…
