    I can only say something about the E8410 (which is very similar to E8420). It's a high quality business notebook. I never had any hardware problems with it. Its hardware components are very good for this price and I would totally recommend it for you. I installed Windows 7 and it worked perfect, and I think it's also gonna work perfect with Win8.

    There is a new Fujitsu E8420 for $375+$20ship.. that I am thinking about buying. Some input on your guys computer and/or owner experience should assist in making a decision. Any Fujitsu really I'm looking to buy at about the same price range. If not, then I will probably end up buying the Gateway 15.6" NE56R10u Laptop PC with Intel Celeron B820 Processor and Windows 7 Home Premium with Windows 8 Pro Upgrade Option @ Walmart. What do you guys say about it?

    As far as I know it supports Sata II (3 Gbit/s)!
