    Hi, I am using HP 430 i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40 Ghz, 2 GB Installed RAM & 64 BIT
    OS. 500 HDD.
Now Laptop is very slow and thinking of increasing the RAM. Your video is
good . I am not a techi guy so have no knowledge of RAMs and other
accessories . When searched for RAM, I could find RAM’s available as DDR,
DDR2 DDR 3 – So please suggest which one will be good for HP 430. Also can
I add 4 GB to the existing 2 GB or I can add only 2 GB with the existing 2
GB RAM. Also please suggest which RAM is more reliable – Transcend or
Kingston or are there any other brand I should look for ?

Hi aditya, You need to install 64 Bit os for the laptop to make full use of
the 8GB ram that you have added. 64 Bit version of Windows 7 or Linux will
show the entire 8Gb being used. Do Subscribe.

Oh, Ok. Subscribed. Thanks for the quick response. I think I’ll upgrade my
RAM. So, how’s your HP 430? I’ve been using mine for almost a month now. Is
your battery OK? Mine last around 5 hours and I have already set the
    brightness around 40%.

Hi. I also have an HP 430 and it comes with 2 GB HDD and Intel Core i3. Is
it possible if I upgrade it into 8 GB HDD and Core i7? I’m not really
impressed with its Intel HD 3000 graphics card though.
