I have a 1tb Seagate baracuda 7200 rpm hard disk and my pc boots in less than less 2 seconds
And the longest time for it to boot is 6 seconds
    That's very fast

I would go with the 5400 because there's just like a 20 second difference.

this is not 100% accurate. it depends on the fragmentation of each drive, also if the drive has been optimized, and or how many files are on each one. I have a 7200rpm drive, and a 5400rpm. and honestly? when there both optimized, you will not see MUCH a difference to make you cry.

However, i would recommend a 7200rpm or SSD above 128gb IF you can afford it, because laptops tend to be weak, and as such a good hardrive, can help give the illusion that the system itself, is fast.
