    Looks like you have a really good collection of 3B2 stuff! I'm desperately trying to hunt some down myself, because I'm working on an emulator and would like to have access to the real machines. They're becoming dreadfully hard to find, though.

    Head crash. Drives dead, hopefully you have a backup drive and keep a copy of all your data.

    That sounds like bearings to me.  I'm playing with a bunch of Maxtor XT-2190, and I have one that does something like that.

    What model MFM is running in that beautiful vintage 3B2?
