Old HDD vs. New HDD: Game Load Times

May 27, 2018 Jon 11 Comments

How much faster can a new HDD make your games load?
Tonight on GHGtv, we aim to find out.

Tonight’s testing is simple. We are putting a 5 year old WD Caviar Blue up with over 400GB of stuff on it up against a Brand New WD Black that manufactured in June this year.

The results are impressive.

We test load times in:
GTA V, Fallout 4, Doom and Left 4 Dead 2.

Why did I go Western Digital? ( I am in no way sponsored )
I trust their drives everyday, and they are yet to let me down.

I hope you’ll enjoy tonights show, I am certainly enjoying my new hard drive.
