This is not a weird connector on USB cable. These days almost every
external USB device has this kind of cable. Its strange that you have never
    seen that before.

I was wondering if the plug was 3.0 solder.
but I saw that snaps into place.

Perhaps a dumb question, but why not buy the internal Samsung Spinpoint M9T
    HDD seperately? Surely that’s cheaper?

Just paid 94.99 at costco. Did the same thing, but to make it an 2TB
internal drive for a laptop. Weird double stick tape seems to be all that
holding the case together. I don’t understand why buying the same internal
drive without a case costs more.

Before I extracted the Seagate Slim 2 TB hard drive from the metal case, I
connected it to the computer to make sure the hard drive work. Then after I
extracted the hard drive, I installed it into the PS4. I downloaded the
UPDATE 736mb 1.75 on to the memory stick and then inserted it into PS4.
Then I pressed the power b**ton for 7 sec to let the PS4 enter the safe
mode. Then the PS4 reinitialized. Then, after it reach 100%, the TV screen
went black and the PS4 begin blinking blue light. So then I switched out
the Seagate hard drive from the PS4 and put back the original hard drive.
The PS4 was able to display image on the TV without blinking the Blue
light. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? The Seagate hard drive:
    ST2000LM003. Thank you.

I was able to easily open this case using the iSesamo found here:

It was much easier to open than the 3.5″ drive enclosures.

In have bought it from Canada Computers for $100 and then extracted it to
put in my Macbook Pro as a second data drive, also saving the cover for my
other 750GB hard drive. Its easily extracted and the case is also not
damaged if you use a credit card instead of a screw driver and also try to
use your fingers mostly. Also use your nails to remove the inner tape not
    the screw driver.

like that……It’s a micro USB with some sort of um, proprietary side to
it”………… Is the description of a USB 3.0 cable…… AWESOME!!!!!

I mean everybody is saying buy a gaming computer… Computers are so
godd**n problematic.. Overheating issues, FPS problems and Driver Issues…
PC gaming used to be the only real way to play online with others.. Counter
Strike, MOHAA, MOH Spearhead, Quake, Battlefield: Vietnam and lots of other
great games.. I ran most of these games on 128mb Graphics Card that cost
    600 dollars..
