The Seagate Expansion 1TB is a USB 3.0 external hard drive, which offers massive storage for games, music, movies, and photos. If you’re in the market for expansion storage, this video is a portable hard drive review. It’s a cheap portable hard drive, and in my opinion, the best external hard drive.

This video includes a Seagate Expansion 1TB review and Seagate Expansion 1TB benchmark. Let me know if you have any other questions about this portable external hard drive!

I feel like i'm going to ask a redundant question here but what I'm looking for is a drive it can use to take round a friends house and download games (because my internet sucks where I currently live) and transfer them to my pc to play, I wouldnt really be gaming from it just mostly download and transfer of games, will this drive do just fine? and how is the gaming performance of the drive? I always feel that it would be slower on an external drive.

I just bought the product and now in the process of transferring my drive data to the Seagate 1tb expansion hard drive. The highest speed I could get was 25 mbps. I started backing it as soon as I got hold of it. Was there a need to do any initializing steps of any sort?
